Red Sound Elis.8 2026 - Stereo Pair FRFR Speaker System

I purchased this Redsound Elis.8 FRFR stereo pair for my Fractal Audio setup, and they sound beyond amazing! Redsound is the only speaker manufacturer endorsed by Fractal Audio. They do Fractal modelers, and any decent modeler, seriously righteous justice. Whatever modeler you own, you can't go wrong with this active speaker system.

These remained only in my home studio for the few months I've owned them, no damage at. They are just like new. All clean and shiny.

I don't want to sell, but I'm moving abroad and can't take many items with me.

The Red Sound ELIS.8 Active is a powered, full-range flat-response (FRFR) speaker cab for live performance or studio use.

With a design based on studio monitors, the ported, coaxial ELIS.8 is powerful, punchy, and transparent. While smaller than the Red Sound MF.10, but has a very big sound, with a tilt-back format for great projection properties.

The ELIS.8 Active is designed as one half of a stereo rig. A built-in dual-channel power amp features Red Sound’s proprietary RAW-P technology. It has discrete left and right inputs with a single unified level control, and a second speaker output to connect the companion ELIS.8 Passive . The ELIS.8 Active can also be used standalone in mono (compare the ELIS.8 Pro).

The ELIS.8 Active features a high-performance Red Sound by SICA® exponential driver with a custom 8-inch woofer and coaxial high frequency driver. The benefits of this design become evident when compared to devices with a separate tweeter, which can cause phase issues around the crossover frequency — a particularly critical area for FRFR guitar applications.

The elegantly designed ported cabinet is meticulously handcrafted from high quality materials including poplar plywood and an extremely durable exterior coating able to withstand the rigors of touring. It is highly portable with a convenient hand grip, and packs a lot of power into a small, grab-and-go format. It’s like bringing your favorite studio monitors on stage with you!

The ELIS.8 Active is excellent for use with the Fractal Audio Systems Axe-Fx III, FM9, FM3, and all of our previous amp modeling products as well as 3rd party systems, keyboards, and more.

The pair comes with one active stereo speaker, and one passive speaker which connects directly to the active Elis.8 for beautiful stereo sound.

The nice about these is their size. smaller footprint, but huge sound. Don't let their format fool, these are loud!
