Black Corporation Deckard’s Dream MK2 8-Voice Analog Synthesizer with Custom Wood Enclosure

Selling my Black Corporation Deckard’s Dream MK2, an 8-voice fully analog polyphonic synthesizer inspired by the legendary Yamaha CS-80.

This particular unit is housed in a custom wood enclosure, which gives it a much more substantial, finished studio-instrument look than the standard desktop configuration.

Deckard’s Dream is one of the most expressive modern analog polysynths available. Each of its eight voices features two complete synthesis layers, giving it the ability to create enormous pads, evolving textures, expressive leads, brass, strings, and cinematic sounds. The signal path is fully analog, with independent high-pass and low-pass filtering for each layer.

It also supports velocity, polyphonic aftertouch, MPE, microtuning, patch storage, MIDI and USB control. With an appropriate controller, the polyphonic aftertouch implementation makes it an exceptionally expressive instrument.

For anyone looking for the character and architecture associated with the CS-80 without dealing with the size, maintenance, and cost of an original, Deckard’s Dream is a remarkable instrument in its own right.
