Listed for sale is my 2000s Hermet Schartel HD902 4/4 violin, made in Romania. This is suitable for beginner to intermediate students or enthusiast seeking a budget European crafted instrument.

The setup consists of a new European maple bridge, hand carved by me to my personal specifications, .5mm under for comfort, a Wittner tailpiece with four fine tuners, ebony chin rest and pegs, and a quality spruce sound post, which has been repositioned to increase projection and clarity.

I've paired this violin with newly strung D'Addario Prelude strings, known for durability and warm-ish tone. This violin produces a clear, warm, strong tone with plenty of projection. I spent some time optimizing the bridge to fully mesh it with this violin, creating a balanced lower and upper register.

The condition is good for its age, with minor wear and tear and minor cosmetic imperfections such as small nicks, varnish chips. There are no cracks or open seams.

This violin will come with a black Kyoto case with red interior, a new Brazilwood bow, and a new shoulder rest.
