This guitar is simply incredible! As part of the “Inspired By” series, the Gibson Custom Shop recreated Slash’s No. 1 guitar, “Jessica,” down to the smallest detail in 2008. Slash had purchased his 1987 Les Paul from Gibson in 1988. From then on, it was his No. 1 live guitar and remains in use with GNR to this day. Since Slash puts his guitars through their paces during live performances, it was a major challenge for Tom Murphy to replicate every scratch and mark down to the smallest detail. Even the crack in the neck heel and the cigarette burn hole were recreated. An absolute masterpiece from the Gibson Custom Shop and a piece of modern music history.

This guitar is in perfect condition and has hardly been played. The frets look like new. A total of 150 of these guitars were built. The first 100 were hand signed “Aged & Signed.” This example has the serial number SA 102, making it No. 2 of the 50 that were released as “Aged.”
