Gibson ES-335 Memphis Tobacco Sunburst (2009) – Original Gibson Case
A beautiful 2009 Gibson ES-335 Memphis finished in classic Tobacco Sunburst, presented in excellent overall condition and supplied with its original Gibson Custom Historic hard case and paperwork as pictured.
This is a lovely example of Gibson’s legendary semi-hollow design from the Memphis era. The ES-335 remains one of the most versatile electric guitars ever made, combining the warmth, resonance and openness of a semi-hollow instrument with the sustain and power of a twin-humbucker electric.
The Tobacco Sunburst finish is particularly striking on this guitar, with a rich amber centre graduating into the dark outer burst and showing the grain beautifully.
The guitar has been looked after extremely well. For a 2009 instrument it is in excellent condition, although naturally there are some light surface marks, polishing swirls and minor signs of use consistent with its age. I have tried to photograph the condition clearly, including the body, neck, headstock and hardware.
The neck and back of the guitar present particularly well and there are no major knocks or damage that detract from the overall appearance.
