Sire Larry Carlton H7V Black I'm selling my Sire Larry Carlton H7V in black. It's a guitar I really like and it was one of the five guitars I recently tried, but after comparing them properly I've decided to keep another semi-hollow instead. I prefer the pickups and finish on the other one, and keeping five guitars simply feels financially irresponsible. The H7V itself is a great semi-hollow. It has that warm, resonant character and natural feel you expect from a semi-hollow while still offering plenty of versatility. It's equally at home with clean tones, blues, jazz and more driven sounds. The black finish gives it a classic, BB king look, and the H7V's overall design has a really nice balance between traditional styling and modern playability. There's nothing wrong with this guitar at all. It's simply a matter of choosing between two semi-hollows that I both really liked, and the other one won me over slightly more because of its pickups and finish. So rather than letting this one sit unused, I'd rather pass it on to someone who can properly enjoy it. I do not like parting with it but choosing between favourites is always really hard. It doesn't need to go quickly and I might still change my mind but if a good offer comes along I can live with it going to someone who'd thoroughly enjoy it's beauty and playability.
