The PRX812W delivers substantial output from a compact, transportable cabinet that handles both main and monitor duties with authority. Its rugged all-wood construction with DuraFlex™ finish and dent-resistant steel grille withstands the demands of touring and frequent relocation. Audio Performance & Output

A 1500-watt class-D amplifier drives the 12" two-way bass-reflex design, producing a maximum SPL output of 135 dB peak with clean, controlled dynamics thanks to the integrated dbx Type IV™ limiter circuit. The 52.6–20 kHz frequency range (main mode) and 1.850 kHz crossover frequency ensure full-spectrum coverage from tight bass through articulate midrange and crisp highs.

Connectivity & Control

Wi-Fi technology with the PRX Connect app enables real-time tuning and performance monitoring from any device on set, eliminating the need for physical access to rear-panel controls during operation. Multiple input options—XLR, 1/4", and RCA connections with XLR loop-through—accommodate any mixing console or playback source, while the intelligent variable-speed fan runs only when thermal conditions demand it, keeping electrical noise to a minimum.
