The Visual Sound Puretone Buffer is a compact signal buffer pedal designed to preserve guitar tone across long cable runs and complex pedalboards. It is based on the same buffer circuit originally built into many Visual Sound pedals and is intended to maintain signal clarity by minimizing high-frequency loss caused by cable capacitance. The unit is typically placed at the beginning of the signal chain and operates using standard 9V DC power.
