The Kustom Quad 200 HD is a 200 watt electric guitar amplifier head with a hybrid Class B modular amplifier design and enough onboard control to cover everything from clean rhythm work to seriously aggressive distortion. Its separate rhythm and lead sections give you dedicated tone shaping and volume controls, making it easy to set up contrasting sounds without having to rebuild your settings every time you need more gain.

Dual Channel Guitar Amp with Punch and Grind

The lead channel is where the Quad 200 HD gets particularly interesting. Kustom's B.A.L.L.S. control adjusts the amount of distortion, moving from lower gain bluesy sounds into harder edged crunch as it is turned up. A Bigger B.A.L.L.S. switch adds still more distortion, while the Punch and Grind preamp selections provide another way to shape the response. The lead channel also gets its own low, mid, high and volume controls. The rhythm channel has a separate three band EQ and volume control along with a Lean and Fat preamp switch that boosts the treble response when engaged.

Built In Digital Guitar Effects

There is a surprisingly useful effects section built right into the head. Eight preset digital effects provide Hall Reverb, Spring Reverb, Slap Back, Delay, Chorus, Chorus with Reverb, Flange with Reverb and Tremolo. A dedicated effects level control lets you determine how much effect is mixed into the main signal, and the entire effects section can be switched on or off from the front panel.

Flexible Connections for Stage and Recording

The Quad 200 HD is set up for more than simply plugging into a speaker cabinet and turning up. Along with its guitar input, it provides an auxiliary input for playing along with an external audio source and a three conductor XLR line output designed for connection to low impedance microphone inputs on a PA or recording mixer. The back panel provides speaker outputs, a line output, an effects loop and a footswitch jack for channel and effects switching. The amplifier is rated for a 4 ohm total speaker load.
