This posting is for three double bass endpins manufactured by the US company New Horizons (look them up, they are awesome). I ordered a swath of different material options to see what would work best with my 1930s Alcoa aluminum double bass, and these were the three that I didn’t end up keeping for one reason or another. But they are barely used…only tested, really…and are in great shape. You’ll see in the photos that one is solid carbon fiber, another is SOLID copper (that’s no pipe) and another is hollow carbon fiber. The CF units are very light and very resonant, whereas the copper unit is quite heavy by comparison, but probably awesome on a traditional double bass. All three are roughly 11 inches long (end-to-end) and 1/2 inch in diameter. HEAR THAT? ONE HALF-INCH in diameter. Not all basses are alike, so please confirm with yourself that this is what you want before purchasing.
