Often mistakenly considered the first '59 reissues, the Heritage '80s are rare guitars: approximately 2,000 were produced between 1980 and 1982. Among the Heritage models, this Standard boasts a beautiful rosewood fretboard. The maple top on this particular guitar is lovely, and the pickups are Tim Shaw. This guitar has developed a superb patina over the past 40 years, has been refretted, and the tuners and Tune-o-Matic have been replaced. It is sold with a generic hardshell case.
