Vintage Silvertone Model 1474 Reverberation Twin Twelve 50-watt 2x12 tube combo, made by Danelectro for Sears in the early 1960s.

This is the classic and relatively rare Silvertone 1474, featuring two 12” speakers, tremolo, and built-in spring reverb.

IMPORTANT: The reverb is currently not working. The tremolo is working, and the amp itself plays and sounds great. I have not had the reverb diagnosed, so I’m not going to speculate about what repair it may need.

The amp has a great vintage sound and plenty of the character these early Silvertone/Danelectro amps are known for.

Condition

The amp is in good vintage condition with honest cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including scuffs, scratches, and wear to the black covering, particularly around the corners and edges. Please look carefully at all photos for the exact cosmetic condition.

I bought this amp from Imperial Vintage Guitars in Sherman Oaks approximately 8 years ago and have owned it since. It has been a great-sounding vintage amp.

The amp is being sold as a vintage, used amplifier with the reverb currently non-functional. The rest of the amp functions properly to the best of my knowledge.
