Turn up the gain and they transition naturally into the thick rhythm tones and singing leads associated with classic Les Pauls. Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup and a 3-way toggle provide the familiar, intuitive Les Paul control layout.

The set mahogany neck continues the late 1950s feel with its substantial 1950s Chunky D carve. A rosewood fingerboard, 12-inch radius, 22 frets, mother of pearl trapezoid inlays, and 24.75-inch scale keep the playing experience firmly rooted in traditional Gibson territory. The fingerboard receives additional rolling as part of the aging process, while the worn neck finish contributes to the played-in feel that is central to the Ultra Heavy Aged treatment.

Period-inspired hardware completes the package with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuners, and a nylon nut.
