Vintage 20" 2002 Red Label Crash -Excellent condition
Up for sale is a vintage red label 2002 Crash in excellent condition with no cracks,keyholing or damage. It has been stored in a 4 mil plastic sleeve inside my cymbal vault and weighs 1870 grams.
The Serial Number appears as 6006822 (with an faint/unfinished mark preceding the 6), putting this cymbal made between the year 1986 or 1996
About the faint/unfinished mystery mark: Because it features the stylized lowercase pAisTe logo font, we know the cymbal was made after late 1989. The first visible digit is a "6". In 1996, Paiste was still transitioning production tracking; a 7-digit number starting with 6 indicates a production year of 1996. (The unfinished mark before the 6 is a common machine error from the automated stamping die skipping on the edge of the bronze spin).
This cymbal is sold as a no return items, as I am retired and downsizing to a smaller place. It will be well packed and shipped quickly with signature required.
