This mic/trigger combo kit is really innovative in that it essentially converts your acoustic kit into a modifiable electric kit with over 100 presets, all with a clip on microphone that takes 30 seconds to mic up your entire kit. Automatically gates cymbals reducing bleed and provides clear drum audio with minimal bleed even in a room with 3 guitar cabs, I’ve tested ;) The snare trigger add on is an extension of the original kit adding a lot more value to the kit, not willing to separate. Additionally, this module connects seamlessly with the Yamaha partner app for mixed audio/video content at the press of a button from your phone. This mic/trigger is incredibly convenient for creating demos, social media, and amping up your practice sessions, I’m only getting rid of it to afford other recording equipment for my band but is incredibly reliable and convenient.
