Vintage Ibanez PL5 Powerlead analog distortion pedal from the Soundtank series, made in Taiwan.

This is the black plastic-enclosure version produced during the 1990s. Based on its serial number (147015) and comparison with other documented Soundtank examples, it is believed to date from approximately 1993–1994. Ibanez Soundtank serial numbers do not provide an officially documented production date, so the exact year cannot be guaranteed.

The PL5 produces a powerful, full-bodied distortion with pronounced bass and low-mid frequencies. It ranges from driven rock tones to saturated lead sounds and is particularly suitable for hard rock, classic metal, sustained solos and legato playing.

The pedal has been fully tested and works perfectly. The footswitch, LED, all three controls, input and output jacks, battery connection and external power socket operate correctly.

The pedal is in good used condition. Its plastic enclosure is complete and intact, and the original pink front label is well preserved. It shows normal signs of use, including light scratches, marks and wear on the metal bottom plate. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.

The sale includes the original Ibanez cardboard box and the original multilingual PL5 instruction manual. The box is complete but shows age and storage wear, including scuffs, creases, worn edges and small tears, as clearly shown in the photographs.
