Here we have a very rare find in this empty 1970 Kustom 3-15 bass cabinet. The 'Cascade 'Emerald' Green sparkle tolex is quite a cool find. We do have the matching Kustom K-200B-1 Bass head in the same finish for sale in a separate listing here on Reverb.com.

NOTE: This listing is for the empty 3-15' cabinet only. I do have 1 of the original 16" ohm CTS 15" speakers from this cabinet.

I played through this entire bass rig on and off for 50 plus years as it was in a good customer-friends recording studio right here in Ferndale, Mich. a few miles from my shop. Obviously it did make it to some shows in the past 5 decades.

Cosmetically it has an overall good look but up close it has many small battle wounds, scrapes, scratches, and a permanent very functional 4 wheel dolly hammered into the bottom of the cab. The cab still has all the factory sound proofing, 1 original and 1 replaced handle. The grill cloth is all there yet stained. There is a way to de-stain it but honestly, we just do not have the time.

I have shown a picture or 2 of the full stack and the KB-200-1 matching head in this listing along with a separate Reverb link to the listing for the head being sold aside from 'this' listing.

• Porting: Dual chrome-rimmed 4-inch reflex ports on the front baffle (tuned factory-standard to 30 Hz).
• Empty Weight: Approximately 75 to 80 lbs (without the heavy 15" magnets, making it significantly easier to move than its ~130 lb fully loaded counterpart).
• Baffle & Cutouts: Front plywood baffle pre-cut for three 15-inch drivers stacked vertically.

We are having and have had a lot of fun here at Gordy's Music! I was just remembering about 35 years ago a tour bus pulled up to our little shop, and who rolls right in and hangs out for an hour? Lenny Kravitz and his entire group, right about the same time I was selling many guitars to and chauffeuring around Dee Dee Ramone who had an apartment a block down from my house.
