Introduced in 1958, the ES-335 has remained an enduring classic alongside legendary designs such as the Les Paul and Stratocaster. Used by countless renowned artists including Eric Clapton and Larry Carlton, it remains one of Gibson’s most popular models.

This guitar is a used 2018 ES-335 Traditional, built at the Gibson Memphis factory.
The Memphis factory was established as a separate facility from Gibson’s main Nashville factory in 2000 and specialized in the production of the ES series until its closure in 2018. This particular guitar was built in 2018, the factory’s final year of operation, after nearly two decades of accumulated expertise in producing these instruments.

Among dedicated Gibson enthusiasts, exploring the subtle differences in feel, components, and specifications between guitars produced at different factories has long been part of the enjoyment of the brand.

Named the ES-335 Traditional, this model features 1963-style specifications, including block position markers and the rounded cutaway horns commonly referred to as “Mickey Mouse ears.”

The guitar offers exceptional acoustic resonance and an immediate, responsive attack, along with rich sustain that faithfully conveys even the finest nuances of your playing. From crisp chord cutting to smooth, mellow tones, it delivers an impressively refined sound across a wide range of styles.

There are some minor scratches and signs of wear, but overall the guitar remains in very clean condition. Its playability is also excellent, making it ready for immediate use on stage or in the studio.
