Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster! Semi-Hollowbody, Contoured Neck Heel with Active Pickups!

Available for sale is the fantastically playing and sounding Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster guitar. This guitar has an amazingly fast feeling roasted maple neck and with its contoured neck/heel joint, access up to the 22nd fret is very comfortable. The frets are in great shape and it has low action with no noticeable buzzing. The guitar plays like butter. The stock SQR active humbucking pickups sound great and “tight”, especially in lower tunings; for example, I have this guitar professionally set up for C-Standard right now and it sounds amazing. This guitar is in Very Good condition, with just a few superficial light scratches (see photos) and the smallest finish coat imperfection (above and in-between the 2 pickups, as shown in the photo), on the tip of the headstock (see photo), and a very small “nick” on the neck which really can’t be easily felt. Please see all of the photos to examine the exact condition of the guitar you’ll receive.

The Squier Contemporary Active Starcaster is an evolution of the original Fender model, engineered with a sealed semi-hollow body for minimized feedback and powered by dual Squier SQR™ active ceramic humbucking pickups for massive high-output signal. The roasted maple neck was chosen for its optimal tone and stability, and a sculpted heel design allows for improved access all the way to the 22nd fret. High-performance components round out the feature list and include a fully adjustable bridge with stop tailpiece for rock-solid string feel, and a set of sealed-gear tuning machines with split shafts for smooth tuning action and easy restringing.
