Crafted by the master builders at the Fender Custom Shop, this 2022 Limited Edition '59 Precision Bass captures the iconic late-1950s golden transition era of the electric bass. Built around a select two-piece alder body finished in a classic 3-Color Sunburst with Fender's authentic Journeyman Relic treatment, this instrument combines a gold anodized aluminum pickguard with a rich, dark rosewood fingerboard. Powered by a Custom Shop '57 P-Bass pickup, it delivers foundational low-end thump, woody midrange punch, and dynamic vintage character.

The bass is in excellent, near-mint condition. It features Fender's factory Journeyman Relic treatment—meaning the lacquer checking, subtle patina, and light hardware aging were authentically applied by the Custom Shop to recreate a gently played vintage instrument. Beyond the factory aging, there appears to be no additional player wear, scratches, or damage anywhere on the instrument.
Neck, Frets & Hardware: The neck is straight and rock-solid, the dark rosewood fingerboard is clean and hydrated, and the frets are in perfect condition with virtually 100% crown height remaining. The period-correct reverse tuners operate smoothly and hold pitch reliably, and the original pickup/bridge covers are intact and properly aligned. All electronics function quietly and flawlessly.
Complete with its original Fender Custom Shop G&G tweed hard case and a fresh setup, this Custom Shop Limited '59 P-Bass plays effortlessly, sounds immense, and is completely ready for professional stage or studio use.
