These are so close to the originals we could hardly tell the difference in both appearance and sound. Of course these are made in China and not England like the originals but that seems to be about the only difference. They really got this one right down to the, long welded plates and even the getter shape. These are identical to the originals as far as materials, build quality, design and tone. Note this is the standard pin version which is identical to the gold pin version aside from not having gold pins. Also, recently these have been shipping with slightly bent pins. They come from the factory that way to us and we straighten them but you may notice them being a bit off. We get them from the same place everyone else does so if another seller isn�t mentioning it, they�re not being upfront. These are one of the finest new production 12AX7s on the market today and hold up even to vintage tubes.

Preamp Tubes: Checked for shorts, gas and leaks. Tested for and/or matched by Gain and General Mutual Transconductance (Gm) at real world voltages on a Maxi-Matcher Preamp II tube tester.

Rectifier Tubes: Checked for shorts, gas and leaks. Tested for and/or matched by Emissions on a calibrated Hickok TV-7 or Triplett 3444 tube tester.

We have a retail location located in Easthampton MA! You are more than welcome to pickup your order in person. Our typical hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM but we do offer extended hours so please call first!

Combined Shipping Policy

On vivatubes.com shipping is automatically calculated & combined shipping is built into our pricing. 

On reverb.com combined shipping is not supported. If you want combined shipping, you will have to order your tubes elsewhere. We will not refund you the difference on reverb.com.

All orders before 1:00 PM EST ship same-day. All orders shipped within 1 business day.

On vivatubes.com Domestic & International buyers can choose USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail.

On reverb.com only one shipping option is supported. Domestic & International ordrs will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail.

International orders will be shipped by USPS First Class Mail International by default, which is the cheapest possible way and you do get what you pay for. This shipping service is very cost-effective and extremely safe, but you will not be able to track your package. We guarantee all of our shipments, but we do ask that our customers wait 90 days before we grant a full refund due to a lost package.
