If you're looking for an acoustic guitar that delivers unmistakable character and enough volume to command attention, the Gretsch G9240 Alligator Biscuit Roundneck Resonator is ready to answer the call. Its all-mahogany construction gives every note a warm, woody foundation, while the resonator design adds that unmistakable swampy growl and cutting projection that has made these guitars a favorite for generations of blues, folk, country, and roots musicians. Whether you're digging into driving rhythm, fingerpicking delicate melodies, or sliding across the strings with a bottleneck, this guitar responds with personality in every note.

At the heart of the G9240 is Gretsch's hand-spun Ampli-Sonic resonator cone, crafted from nearly pure aluminum to deliver remarkable volume, clarity, and dynamic response. The result is a lively, punchy voice that cuts through a jam session with ease while retaining the rich, vintage character players expect from a traditional biscuit-bridge resonator. It's an instrument that feels equally at home on a front porch, in the studio, or under stage lights.

Finished with vintage-inspired style and built to inspire, the G9240 captures the timeless spirit of classic American resonator guitars while offering the reliability modern players appreciate. Whether you're expanding your acoustic collection or discovering the unique voice of a resonator for the first time, you'll find plenty to love in this standout instrument.
