The 1983 Fender Bullet S3 (Version 2) is a highly regarded vintage electric guitar designed by John Page and manufactured in the USA. Originally conceived as an affordable, student-level replacement for the outgoing Fender Duo-Sonic and Musicmaster models, the S3 variant remains a hidden gem for collectors and musicians looking for vintage USA Fender quality without the premium price tag of a standard Stratocaster.

Body: A double-cutaway, slab-style body reminiscent of a scaled-down Stratocaster, typically made of alder. It features a thinner profile than a standard Strat and lacks body contouring.

Neck: A bolt-on solid maple neck with a comfortable C or soft-V profile, standard 25.5" scale length, 21 frets, and a distinctively narrow Telecaster-style headstock.

Pickups: Armed with three Mustang-style single-coil pickups arranged in a Stratocaster configuration, characterized by solid white or red plastic covers with hidden pole pieces.

Electronics: Standard master volume and master tone controls paired with a 5-way pickup selector switch for versatile tone switching.
