A great vintage Yamaha keyboard system and an interesting piece of early-1980s electronic musical instrument history. Includes the original Playcards shown in the photographs.
PlayCard System: Features a physical slot with a magnetic tape reader head. Cards feature standard sheet music on one side and a magnetic data strip on the bottom encoding melodies, accompaniment, and second-voice instruments. Users could play along with guiding melody lamps or let the keyboard perform automatically.
