1974 Fender Stratocaster 3 Bolt Maple Neck. Modified in the 80’s for a Floyd Rose, hence the shelf at the nut. The face of the headstock had been stained/painted. I did my best to remove the stain without losing the decal. I lost a little of it, but most of it is there, as can be seen in the photos. The original F tuners are gone and were replaced, also in the 80’s with Schallers, that have been removed. This neck was made by Herb Gastelum, the “King of Feel”. He worked for Fender for 56 years. Look him up if you’re inclined. I’m glad that I did, as he played an important role in the history of Fender guitars, and is now retired. No returns.
