I have an Ibanez JIVA 10 Nita Strauss here. This one comes with its strap locks, and I have a basic soft case comparable to the original this one came with. This is a 2018 model featuring a genuine mahogany body.

Conditionally the guitar looks great.

The body top shows a small amount of guitar picks strumming, light surface marks above the pickups. And an even more minimal amount below the pickups. Beyond that, any superficial swirling will be absolutely minimal. I did not find any accumulation of any soft playwear on the body top, nor any singular marks.

The body sides/edges look great. I did not find any bumps or indentations or chips. Any soft superficial swirling will be minimal as well. I did not find any accumulation of any of that.

The body back shows a small patch of playwear between the back plate and the neck bolts. And a little trace up by the upper horn. Minimal to the extent that it's about the same intensity as the guitar picks strumming. So there's nothing I would quantify as buckle rash or worming here. Just a little bit of soft pattern swirling. The bulk of the body back looks great. There are no penetrating finish scratches. I didn't find any dings or chips. The plastic back plates look nice and clean too.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent with nothing to report there. The headstock shows a little bit of scuffing around the edge wall of the headstock. There's a little mark about a millimeter in size, but no chips or dings, just a little bit of scuffing around the perimeter, sort of a micro amount of playwear. The frets are tall and meaty. I found just a little smidge of level use on the first few G and B strings. But nothing sinking into the frets deep. Just a tiny little bit of level usage. The setup plays fantastic. It is perfectly dialed in and maintained too. The electronics are working as they should and are stock.

So this one rates an 8.9/10 and grades as very good. Consider that on the better side of very good, that is right at the threshold of what I list as excellent. I found small amounts of playwear on the body back. And a minimal amount of signs of use on the frets. So this one is very close to excellent. Visually and aesthetically it really looks sharp. And it is structurally and sonically sound and plays fantastic.

The Nita Strauss model is a typical Ibanez masterpiece. I will post the known specs of it at the bottom of the listing. Ibanez in general is a brand that looks at guitar building like an engineer, where every facet of the guitar is designed for performance. They have mastered the art of making a stable playable neck that is thin and plays fast. They have their own proprietary tremolo system. The guitar shape is an evolution, a more ergonomically sculpted version of a Strat style body. You can literally look up and down a high end Ibanez guitar and see little details that were thoughtfully refined from years of research and development.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
