DESCRIPTION
This 1981 Alembic Series I Bass is a beautiful example from one of Alembic's most celebrated eras, featuring a stunning Figured Koa top and classic neck-through construction.

The Series I is known for its incredibly clear, hi-fi tone and versatile active electronics. Dual Alembic pickups, the hum-cancelling system, low-pass filters, and Q switches give you everything from deep, warm lows to punchy mids and crisp, articulate highs.

Classic Alembic touches include the multi-laminate neck, ebony fingerboard, brass hardware, crown headstock, and oval inlays. The Figured Koa really sets this one apart and looks even better in person.

An awesome vintage Alembic with tons of character, great playability, and that unmistakable Series I sound. A seriously cool bass from 1981.
