Fender Japan Exclusive Classic 60's Stratocaster Ocean Turquiose Metallic w/Tags - 2016

Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a Fender Japan Exclusive Classic 60's Stratocaster in rare Ocean Turquoise Metallic.  These Fender Japan offerings were sold exclusively in Japan and select international markets and were not shipped to the USA.  You get the Fender ST Vintage Pickups, Gotoh Vintage style tuners, and the vintage spec trem system with stamped saddles.  It has all the charm, chime, and vibe of a 60's strat.   The pickups read in the vintage range - 5.30k neck, 5.25k middle, and 5.24k bridge.   25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 7.72 lbs.  It's a lightweight Basswood body, hard Maple neck, and a striated Rosewood fretboard.  Fender calls this a Gloss Polyester finsh.  Professionally setup here in our shop and we can't find a mark on it.  

The nut measures 1.68", neck depth is .85"-.95" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a vintage medium C profile. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario XL nickel strings and factory spec 4/64"-3/64" action.  The frets exhibit no wear and the fretboard is clean.  It presents as new old stock.  The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.   It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
