For guitarists who want classic Fender tube tone in a compact amplifier that can move easily from rehearsal to studio to stage, the FSR Blues Junior IV Color Trio delivers the familiar formula with a distinctly American visual twist. Available at Haggerty's Music, this limited-edition Fender Special Run version of the enormously popular Blues Junior IV wraps its portable 15-watt combo format in custom red, white, and blue vinyl with contrasting black grille cloth. Beneath the unique exterior is the Blues Junior's proven all-tube platform, making this an appealing choice for working musicians, home players, and collectors looking for something beyond the standard production model.

The Blues Junior IV builds on the long-running Blues Junior design with modified preamp circuitry voiced for greater fullness and definition, along with a refined spring reverb circuit that produces a smoother, more musical decay. Its 15-watt output provides enough power for rehearsals and appropriately sized gigs while remaining manageable for studio work, and the onboard FAT boost adds extra midrange presence when it's time for a lead to step forward. This FSR model is further distinguished by an Eminence Cannabis Rex speaker, known for its warm response, smooth top end, and ability to complement everything from sparkling cleans to rich, pushed tube overdrive.

Whether paired with single-coils for blues, country, roots, and classic rock or driven by humbuckers for thicker overdriven sounds, the FSR Blues Junior IV offers the straightforward controls and touch-sensitive response that have made the series a favorite among guitarists. The included one-button footswitch provides convenient control of the FAT boost during performance, while the unusual Color Trio cosmetics give this limited-edition model an unmistakable stage presence. It's a practical tube combo with plenty of personality: A portable Fender amp designed to sound as distinctive as it looks.
