A traditional nylon-string experience with modern playability and amplification.
The Yamaha NCX1 is designed for players who want a classical-style guitar with the flexibility to perform in modern environments. Built on a traditional full-size classical body, it delivers the warm, balanced tone expected from a nylon-string instrument while integrating features suited for stage and recording use.
The classical body shape produces a rounded, resonant tone with strong low-end warmth and smooth, controlled highs. Its wider neck profile allows for accurate fingerstyle technique, making it ideal for classical repertoire, fingerstyle arrangements, and expressive solo playing.
Equipped with Yamaha’s SYSTEM73 preamp and undersaddle piezo pickup, the NCX1 provides a natural and dynamic amplified tone. It captures the character of the guitar with clarity and depth, making it a reliable choice for live performance and direct recording without the harshness associated with traditional pickup systems.
Key Features:
- Traditional full-size classical body
