The Eastman E20OM Thermo-Cure combines the balance and responsiveness of an Orchestra Model with the rich, seasoned character of a vintage acoustic. Featuring a solid thermo-cured Adirondack spruce top paired with solid rosewood back and sides, it delivers exceptional clarity, warmth, and dynamic range. From delicate fingerstyle passages to articulate flatpicking, the E20OM responds with remarkable sensitivity and a mature, open voice that feels years in the making.
Eastman's thermo-curing process removes excess moisture from the Adirondack spruce, allowing the top to vibrate more freely. The result is the sound and responsiveness of a well-played vintage guitar, with enhanced resonance, quicker attack, and impressive sustain right out of the case.
Body
The OM body shape offers outstanding balance across the frequency spectrum, making it an excellent choice for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and versatile performers. Hand-carved scalloped X bracing maximizes resonance while maintaining excellent note separation and projection. Finished in high-gloss Truetone lacquer, the guitar is accented with classic herringbone binding, a traditional rosette, and a tortoise shell pickguard for timeless vintage-inspired styling.
Neck
A mahogany neck carved to Eastman's Traditional Even "C" profile provides a comfortable and familiar playing experience. The ebony fingerboard features elegant abalone snowflake inlays, while the shorter 24.9-inch scale length offers a slightly softer string feel that's ideal for expressive playing and effortless bends. A bone nut, 20 Jescar frets, and dual-acting truss rod ensure precise playability and long-term reliability.
