Vintage Rogers Big R Dyna-Sonic 5x14 Snare Drum

This Vintage Rogers Big R Dyna-Sonic 5x14 Snare Drum delivers the crisp articulation, powerful projection, and exceptional sensitivity that made the Dyna-Sonic one of Rogers' most celebrated designs. Produced during the Big R era, this drum combines unmistakable vintage styling with a versatile chrome-over-brass shell sound.

Classic Chrome-Over-Brass Tone

The chrome-over-brass shell produces a bright, full-bodied voice with a strong fundamental note and clear cutting attack. It offers plenty of presence at higher volumes while retaining the warmth and musical overtones associated with vintage brass snare drums.

Legendary Dyna-Sonic Response

The Rogers Dyna-Sonic was designed for outstanding snare sensitivity, articulation, and control across a wide tuning range. Its 10-lug configuration supports precise tuning, while the 5x14 dimensions provide a responsive feel suited for studio recording, live performance, and a variety of musical styles.

Big R Era Styling

The bold Big R badge identifies this drum with Rogers' late-1970s and early-1980s production era. These vintage Dyna-Sonic models remain desirable among players and collectors for their distinctive appearance, quality hardware, and recognizable Rogers sound.
