Highly collectable 1965 Kalamazoo Model 2 with brand new filter caps last week from House of Guitars in SLC. Killer sounding amp. I've compiled a collection of vintage amps, and recently felt the need to declutter get them to folks who will play them more often.
All original Raytheon tubes, which are expensive by themselves.
Demo video at end of photo reel.
Besides the new filter caps, all other internal components look original. - Transformers are original and date to 1965.
- Original speaker sounds great.
- I believe even the tubes are original.
- Schematic still on the inside of cabinet
- Tremolo is very strong (these are famous for their amazing tremolo)
- Some wear and a ding on the right side of cab, pretty clean other than that.
- Faceplate is near flawless.
- Clean original grill cloth
- New filter caps last week (silicone job was a little sloppy on one cap though)
- Two prong and death cap are still in place
