The Epiphone Explorer 80s EMG Ebony is exactly the right instrument for fans of aggressive metal riffs. The combination of the extroverted Explorer design and active EMG pickups is considered an absolute thrash classic and offers everything a metalhead could wish for. The slim ‘60s Slim Taper neck, crafted from mahogany, allows for playing with the utmost precision right up to the highest fretboard positions, whilst the pair of active EMG 60 and EMG 81 pickups provide the necessary punch through the amplifier. In addition, the Epiphone Explorer 80s EMG Classic White features a LockTone Tune-o-Matic with a matching LockTone stopbar. The locking mechanism of these two hardware components ensures the most direct possible resonance transfer into the body, giving percussive rhythm licks a razor-sharp attack. Gig bag included!
