This 1970s Armstrong Elkhart alto flute has a beautiful, resonant sound and a lot of character. It features a solid silver straight headjoint, inline G, and was recently cleaned, oiled, and adjusted by a technician. It is currently in playable condition.
The flute has some scratches from normal use, and some pads are due for replacement. I recommend taking it to a qualified flute technician for service. The case is less than a year old and remains in great condition. See photos for details.
This is a nice vintage alto flute for a player looking for a rich sound and solid silver headjoint. The alto has a narrow 24.6 mm bore, which is helpful to know when considering headjoint compatibility. It plays in the key of G, as is typical of alto flutes.
