“Geigenbaumeister” translates to master violin maker, and Erich Werner instruments are respected German-made violins known for traditional construction and strong player appeal.

This violin features a warm amber-orange varnish, carved spruce top, figured maple back and ribs, ebony fingerboard and fittings, and traditional inlaid purfling. It is currently equipped with four individual fine tuners for easier adjustment.

Condition

The violin is in good pre-owned condition with normal evidence of playing and age. It shows scattered scratches, small finish marks, rosin residue and other cosmetic wear consistent with a used instrument.

The violin appears complete and currently set up, but it has not recently been professionally inspected, authenticated or serviced by a luthier. The buyer may wish to have the bridge, soundpost, strings, seams and general setup checked after shipping.
