Infinity Kappa 8 Speakers (Pair) 1987-1989

Selling a matched pair of Infinity Reference 8 Kappa floor-standing speakers in the original oak finish.

This speaker pair comes from a thoughtfully assembled collection of vintage hi-fi equipment owned by a passionate audiophile who valued quality components and took pride in his system. Each piece from the collection is being listed individually and described as accurately and transparently as possible.

These speakers have been tested and are fully functional. All drivers produce sound, including the woofers, EMIT-K ribbon tweeters, and Polygraph couplers. The well-known Polydome K midranges are also functional, though the diaphragms have deteriorated cosmetically over time (a common issue with this model). Please review the photos carefully.

Cabinets are in very good vintage condition with normal cosmetic wear from age. Original grilles are included, and all rear level controls and bi-wire/bi-amp terminals are intact.

Ideal for serious two-channel listening or as the centerpiece of a vintage hi-fi system. Due to their design, they perform best with a quality, high-current amplifier.
