2025 Martin 000-28 Authentic 1937 – Limited Edition of 50

Now in stock, this exceptional 2025 Martin 000-28 Authentic 1937 features an Adirondack spruce top and Madagascar rosewood back and sides, produced in an exclusive worldwide edition of just 50 guitars.

Inspired by one of Martin’s greatest pre-war instruments, this model faithfully revives the soul of a 1937 Golden Era Martin.

The Adirondack spruce delivers remarkable headroom, explosive dynamics, and effortless responsiveness, while the Madagascar rosewood produces lush, complex overtones with a richness and depth reminiscent of vintage Brazilian rosewood.

What makes this guitar truly captivating is that it doesn’t sound like a new instrument.

Instead, it has an open, relaxed, warm, and airy voice, with every note carrying the organic breath and woody character normally associated with a well-played vintage Martin.

Built using Martin’s Authentic Series construction, including hot hide glue, 1937 forward-shifted X-bracing, and Stage 1 Aging, it feels and responds like a guitar that has already been awakened by decades of music from the very first strum.

The 000 body size offers exceptional balance and a refined midrange, making it equally inspiring for fingerstyle, vocal accompaniment, and studio recording. It possesses an unmistakably sophisticated, high-end tonal character.

With only 50 instruments produced worldwide, this is the kind of Martin that will only become rarer, more collectible, and more desirable with the passing of time.
