Up for sale is a clean pair of vintage Zenith Allegro 2500 bookshelf speakers from the late 1970s (circa 1979). These speakers have been fully tested and both sound excellent with clean highs, solid bass, and no issues. If you're looking for an uncommon piece of late-'70s hi-fi history, these are a fantastic addition to any vintage stereo setup.

The Allegro 2500 is a less commonly seen model from Zenith's Allegro lineup and features an efficient 8-ohm, tuned-port two-way design that delivers impressive sound from a compact cabinet. One of the standout features is the adjustable front-mounted treble control on each speaker, allowing you to fine-tune the high-frequency response to match your room or listening preferences.

Overall, these speakers are in excellent vintage cosmetic condition. The walnut-look wood veneer cabinets are in beautiful shape with no chips, cracks, or structural damage. The original grille cloths have some light dust and minor age-related fuzziness, but no tears or major damage. The dust should clean off relatively easily with a gentle vacuum, lint roller, or soft brush. With the grilles removed, the drivers and surrounds are in excellent condition.

There is a small amount of white paint transfer on the back of one cabinet only. It does not affect performance and may be removable with the proper cleaner. The paint is only on the back and is not visible when the speakers are in use.
