Professionally Set Up

This bass has been professionally set up by Roger Morillo of St. Albans, West Virginia, and plays exceptionally well with a comfortable action across the neck.

Tone and Performance

The Fender Noiseless pickups deliver the classic articulation and punch of a Jazz Bass while eliminating the traditional single-coil hum.

The Seymour Duncan active preamp provides excellent tonal flexibility, from warm vintage fingerstyle tones to the bright, articulate slap sound associated with Marcus Miller-style Jazz Basses.

The Badass II bridge offers excellent sustain, stable intonation, and outstanding note definition.

The DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams strings complement the instrument perfectly, producing a full low end, clear mids, and brilliant highs.

Condition

The bass is in very good overall condition.

It has normal cosmetic wear expected from a well-cared-for instrument, including light scratches on the pickguard that do not affect performance.

The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of life remaining, and all electronics function properly (all electronics are new).

Why This Bass?

Japanese-made Fender Jazz Basses have earned an outstanding reputation for their craftsmanship and consistency. Combined with the Seymour Duncan active preamp, Fender Noiseless pickups, Badass II bridge, professional setup, and DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams strings, this is a professional-quality instrument that is ready for the stage, studio, or collection.
