The Gibson Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard brings the unmistakable attitude of Britpop to a guitar built for the demands of modern performance. Created in collaboration with Noel Gallagher for the Live ’25 tour, this artist-inspired Les Paul pairs a solid mahogany body with a bound maple top and no weight relief, delivering the substantial feel and resonant character players expect from a traditional Les Paul. Its mahogany neck features Gallagher’s preferred SlimTaper profile, offering a comfortable, streamlined feel for everything from driving rhythm parts to soaring lead lines. A bound rosewood fingerboard, acrylic trapezoid inlays, and a distinctive five-ply black pickguard inspired by classic Les Paul Custom designs give this instrument a look that feels instantly familiar yet unmistakably its own.
The real personality comes through in the electronics, where chrome-covered Gibson P-90 Soapbar pickups deliver a lively, articulate voice with plenty of midrange bite. They respond beautifully to changes in picking dynamics and guitar volume, moving from gritty, punchy rhythm tones to singing lead sounds while retaining the clarity that makes P-90s so expressive. Individual volume and tone controls, paired with a three-way selector switch, provide straightforward, hands-on control over the guitar’s tonal range. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece provide a solid foundation for sustain and reliable intonation, while black Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors complete the vintage-inspired aesthetic.
Every detail of the Gibson Noel Gallagher Les Paul Standard reflects its connection to an artist and an era that helped shape modern British guitar music. Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons, chrome hardware accents, and a reproduction of Noel Gallagher’s signature decal on the back of the headstock add character without distracting from the guitar’s classic silhouette. Whether you’re laying down big, confident chords, cutting through a band with a snarling lead tone, or chasing the energy of the Live ’25 tour, this Les Paul is built to make its presence felt. A hardshell case is included, making it ready for the journey from the practice room to the stage. Available now at Haggerty's Music.
