This is a bass-specific tube preamp equipped with a treble/middle/bass 3-band equalizer!
While retaining the characteristics of its predecessor, the BASS WIRED, the "2S" is a clearer and more modern model that delivers high-resolution, deep bass that won't get lost in a band mix. It achieves an optimal balance from a 1:1 clean tone at volume 12 o'clock to the distorted sound pressure at maximum volume. The even-order harmonics of the vacuum tubes give the sound a rich, three-dimensional quality.
