FERNANDES Mini-Bass ZO-3 Piezzo 'RARE' - Black - Japan Import

FERNANDES Mini-bass PIEZ-ZO ZO-3 Black 'Elephant' (the neck represents the trunk, the LED the eye, the pickguard the ear, and as for the legs, I'll let you guess!) Very rare in a bass version.

These mini-guitars are very common in Japan and not imported to Europe, or only in very small quantities. This is a real shame because this bass guitar is not a gadget or a toy... or rather, a toy for adults. Mini-guitar size and 22 frets, ideal for playing in front of the TV, taking on trips, etc. Plugged into an amp, it really packs a punch: sounds like standard-sized models, it's amazing, the piezo pickup is excellent, powered by 18 volts (2 x 9V batteries)!! Excellent quality craftsmanship, the neck is incredibly comfortable, made of quality maple and rosewood. Perfect as a travel bass and/or for collectors!

Note that Fernandes built many different ZO-3 models, countless variations: different colors, luxurious finishes, humbucker, P90, single-coil, acoustic, bass, promotional editions, limited editions, etc. Some models fetch over €1000.
