Greco Boogie BG600 1985 - Mystery White Japan

This 1985 Greco BG600 Boogie is a rare and unique piece from Greco's golden-era Fujigen production. Rather than being a copy of an American design, the Boogie was Greco's own original creation, blending sleek offset styling with a versatile three-pickup layout and a look that still feels ahead of its time.

Finished in factory Mystery White, this example is in very good condition overall with only light cosmetic wear throughout. There are a handful of small dings, edge chips, scratches, and signs of normal use, but nothing excessive for a nearly 40-year-old instrument. The frets show light wear and have plenty of life remaining.

The maple neck has a comfortable feel and is paired with a rosewood fingerboard. Electronics are powered by a trio of original Greco DRY single-coil pickups that deliver everything from clear, articulate cleans to punchy, aggressive tones when pushed. The control layout provides a wide range of tonal options and makes this one of the more versatile Japanese guitars of the era.

These Boogie models don't surface very often, especially in original condition. If you're looking for something beyond the usual Strat, Tele, or LP-style offerings, this is a cool and collectible piece of Japanese guitar history.

The original tuners have been replaced of Gotoh tuners as seen in the above photos.
