Behringer Proton - Meant

Behringer Proton — analog paraphonic semi-modular, in excellent condition.

The Proton is Behringer's most ambitious original semi-modular — essentially the Neutron taken to the next level, with a fully analog signal path and serious sound-design depth. It's a brilliant standalone instrument and slots straight into a Eurorack setup if that's your world.

Why it's special: dual analog VCOs with five blendable waveforms, oscillator sync, PWM and independent sub-oscillators per oscillator — so it goes from fat basses and cutting leads to evolving, layered paraphonic textures. The real party trick is the two self-oscillating multimode filters that run in series or parallel, plus a multimode wavefolder for rich harmonic content. Modulation is deep: four envelopes (two ASR with loop/reverse/inverse/bounce, two ADSR) and two flexible LFOs with MIDI clock sync. A 64-point patch bay and 68 hands-on controls mean you can patch as far down the rabbit hole as you like — or just play it straight out of the box.
