BODY
Okoumé body with golden camphor burl top and blue/red shaded glittered epoxy resin, with a figured poplar back. Gloss finish on the top and matte finish on the back, featuring purple/blue chameleon shades on the rear and side edges.
The top features an embedded ammonite fossil and two fossil coral inserts that define the theme and stand out beautifully within the glossy body finish.
To keep the weight low, the instrument is chambered with tonal chambers.
Like all our boutique guitars, it incorporates the multi-pickup system that allows pickups to be replaced from the rear of the instrument.
NECK
6-string neck with a low asymmetrical profile, laminated and composed of purpleheart, walnut, and figured maple layers.
The neck contains one dual-action truss rod with adjustment access inside the neck pickup cavity.
Original Ibanez locking nut.
FINGERBOARD
Olive wood fingerboard with resin-filled cracks in a violet shade.
Mother-of-pearl side dots.
2.7 mm stainless steel frets with semi-spherical fret ends.
25.5" scale length. 24 frets.
HEADSTOCK
Laminated headstock with olive wood top and engraved GB Liuteria logo.
Chrome locking tuners installed at an angle for easier access, featuring wooden covers with engraved GB Liuteria logos.
ELECTRONICS
High-quality CTS potentiometers.
Circuit built using OFC copper and silver wires with Teflon insulation; where necessary, shielded OFC copper and silver cables are used.
Star-ground wiring without a shielded cavity, to avoid a “boxed” sound and prevent ground loop formation.
5-way Schaller M selector switch.
Paper-in-oil capacitors.
Knobs handcrafted by GB Liuteria in poplar, color-matched to the body with olive wood inserts.
The 5-way configuration switches from series humbucker to parallel wiring.
BRIDGE
Chrome Kahler tremolo bridge with the possibility to lock it and transform it into a fixed bridge.
PICKUPS
2-humbucker pickup set with olive wood covers handcrafted by GB Liuteria.
Alnico 5 magnet in the neck pickup and ceramic magnet in the bridge pickup.
Modern, powerful, highly defined and dynamic sound.
