Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 1987 Charvel Model 1 in Ferrari Red and featuring the Jackson J90C Humbucker, 1 volume knob, and the truth. These rare early versions feature a vintage style tremolo unit and a maple fretboard and a lightweight Basswood body. And this one features a groovy period correct faux leather padded gig bag to boot. It's been deep cleaned and professionally set up so it's ready to rock. Only one small ding and a repaired fretboard separation keep this from being mint.
The nut measures 1.69", neck depth is .81"-.89" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's the standard Charvel C profile that are famous for. 25.5" scale, 10" radius, 7.69 lbs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Freshly set up with D'Addario 10-46 XL nickel strings and accurately intonated. The frets have been leveled, crowned and polished for an effortless playing experience. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the padded gig bag in the photos.
