The new MK3 version slightly different from the first and second series (see drawing). This is the "compact" version for guitars with a not too pronounced neck angle or with a heavily carved top. It allows to obtain a lower action than the MKI and MKII adapters. Also now included in the kit is a puller to remove the Royal Mount stud and revert to Nashville bushings if desired! 100% reversible!
This kit works best on the original ABR-1 bridges. In any case, I invite you to check that the diameter of the housing holes in your bridge are of adequate size to accommodate the Royal Mount stud thread. In this regard, Faber® ABRN or ABRM Bridges are an excellent choice.

A great kit to convert your Nashville bridge equipped guitar to vintage style ABR-1! All with the same NOS soft brass as the Royal Mount '50 thumbwheels!
The kit contains: two adapter studs in NOS soft brass with special design, two thumbwheels in NOS soft brass, one puller screw for extract the original Nashville bridge bushings, one nylon cap "blind" (the hole is not through for maximum protection of the thread) to install the studs into the wood and one "extractor" to come back to Nashville studs. They were made in a small Italian company on the border with Switzerland that has been active since 1936 in the field of precision small parts. The same "soft brass" from the 1950s was used in Kalamazoo. The nickel plating is "copperless" type to be 100% faithful to the original project. The sound is 100% vintage.
Many manufacturers make more or less accurate replicas but what they don't use unlike mine are the brass NOS bars which are slightly magnetic. Find info on Royal Mount kits on the My Les Paul forum, The Les Paul forum and on YouTube.
