G&L USA Legacy 2012 -Custom Build- Blonde

This is a lightly played 2012 USA G&L Legacy. This was a custom order that was completed 2/27/12.

The swamp ash body with blonde finish is absolutely gorgeous! This guitar plays and feels like a high-end instrument should. The hard rock Maple neck and fretboard feel really great in the hand. The electronics in it sound phenomenal. The middle pickup is reverse wound for hum cancellation in positions 2&4. The Tone controls on these are actually a passive treble cut and passive bass cut for great tone sculpting.

It has a factory bone nut and Sperzel tuning machines for really great tuning stability.

Approximately 8 lb. 10 oz. It also has a swimming pool route under the pickguard which is nice for changing pickup configurations if you desire.

There's a bit of haziness in the finish on the fretboard that can specifically be seen over the dot inlays but it doesn't affect anything and is not peeling and flaking or anything like that. It's simply a visual imperfection. There's a touch of wear on the edge of the fretboard but nothing major to report. There may be some slight swirling in the plastics and the finish but there are no major dings or scratches. There are nearly no signs of wear on the frets even. It was very lightly played.

It plays perfectly and was recently set up but I always recommend planning to have it set up by your local Tech as things can shift during shipping and changes in climate.

The case itself is a nice Deluxe Black G&G made for G&L. There is some damage to the tolex but all of the hinges and latches work correctly. It just has some minor dings and such that can be seen in the photos. As clean as the guitar is, the case has done its job protecting it over the years.
