According to the original catalog, the JX-3P was developed as a next-generation programmable polyphonic synthesizer, combining the warmth of analog sound with the stability and precision of digital control.

It is a 6-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer equipped with DCO (Digitally Controlled Oscillators), delivering rich analog tones while maintaining excellent tuning stability.
